With Chris disguised in many costumes, the show features rhythms
used mainly at music key stage 1 level, culminating in the audience
providing the rhythmical accompaniment for the Yellow Rose of
Texas to which Chris plays.
Dance Macabre is the orchestral showpiece for the first
half and Strike up the Band for the second half, Chris
conducts the Gershwin and the rest of the programme is conducted
by the resident (or guest) conductor.
Alice the Camel features each section of the orchestra
and culminates in a glorious double bass solo, the audience also
have the words and sing each chorus.
Quiz sheets and balloons are handed out as part of the show and
the audience should bring along their favourite teddy bear (preferably
with blue striped pyjamas) and a pencil for the quiz.
